  Technology Education Program Solution to Design Brief TSA Chapter

The proceeds from the fundraisers go to supporting the chapter’s attendance at TSA competitions. Last year, six members of High Tech’s TSA chapter went to the nationals at Denver for the first time. One student, Eric Gallimore, won first place in Electronic Systems on the national level.

On March 27th, 2003, all 53 members of the High Technology High School Technology Student Association competed at the Regional TSA Conference, hosted by The College of New Jersey. Students competed in events that incorporated technology into film, photography, construction, computer troubleshooting, medicine, electronics, computer aided design, and web design. Nearly half of the members of the HTHS TSA chapter won an award in their respective competitions.

- Erin Fischell and Kathy Wakeham (Medical Technology)

- Katie Kavett (Desktop Publishing)
- Eric Gallimore (Electronic Research and Experimentation)
- Emily Israel (Imaging Technology)
- Philip Lee (Transportation Modeling)

- Alex Rospos and Ryan Curry (Radio Control Transportation)
- Joe Curatolo (Technical Sketching and Application)
- Alexander Duff and Michael Soltys (Technology Challenge)
One of the members of the High Tech TSA chapter was elected to be the State Treasurer for the New Jersey Technology Student Association. Elizabeth Kang pledged to uphold her position for the following year and promised to strive to work hard to make NJ TSA the best it can possibly be.

The High Technology High School TSA would like to congratulate all of its winners. It wishes the first place winners good luck at the National TSA Conference. The chapter is proud of its members and hopes that they have learned from the competition.
