Wedding dress mannequin

Among the random things at this year's Chinatown Festival in Boston was a vendor for a wedding photography studio, complete with this mannequin wearing a wedding dress.

Little princess on a duck

The "Make Way For the Ducklings" statues in the Boston Public Garden always attract a lot of children...I thought that this little girl all dressed up in a white dress was particularly precious :)

Purple and orange wool yarn

I wanted to pick something with lots of color after the black & white of the last entry. These skeins of yarn (Lamb's Pride Worsted, I think?) are the most vibrantly colored photos I have in my library right now.

Red Cab

It wasn't so much the redness and label of the cab that got me; I really like the font :)

I think this is one of the many trees in the Boston Public Garden.

Conversation graffiti

The independent movie rental place in Coolidge Corner, the Cinemasmith, moved into the basement of the Booksmith a few months ago. Its vacated store area will be filled by a Verizon store soon. I'm actually not sure what the second part means, but I thought the graffiti was just funny.

Monkey tumbler

]]> There are an enormous number of shops along Newbury St. in Boston, and one of them is called "Fresh" which sells various lotion/shower/makeup things. Everything is packaged SO nicely!

T-stoplight

I'm not sure why they have a stoplight for the T at the Riverside stop of the D line. Actually, they may have them at all other stops, I just haven't really taken noticed of it.

Floral car

]]> This photo was taken sometime during my trip to the Nationals in D.C. with my Academic Team in June '04. The van's probably for some local florist, but I love how bright the flowers are! Actually, right now I can't remember whether I took this photo myself--it may have been given to me by Pat, but I really like it and I'm just going to post it for now.
